Program Schedule

The schedule for different events will be as follows:

  • Registration Deadline – January, 15, 2010
  • Application process - please read the details given under "Admission process ". .
  • Payment Deadline - The payment deadline for receiving full payment is January, 22, 2010. A late fee of $ 100 will be charged for payments received after the deadline.
  • Meet & Greet - A get- together/Orientation will be organized on Thursday, January 28, 2010- 10:00 - 12;00 (Lunch will be provided)
  • Regular online teaching begins on Monday, January, 30, 2010and ends on - Saturday, March, 27, 2010
  • Practicum I at PALS - Each student will observe two PALS classes:
  • I a - One Phonology class
  • I b - One Grammar class
  • Schedule for Practicum I will be worked out with individual students.
  • Practicum II at PALS - Each student will deliver one pre-planned lesson which will be observed and evaluated by two PALS faculty members. The lesson can be delivered on any week day in the week of April 05 - 09, 2010.
  • Final Exam – March 29 - 30, 2010. To offer flexibility, a student may take the final exam any time during this period. The final exam will be conducted online using a special secure software - Exam. Guard.. Each student will be able to access the exam only once using the software instructions to download and use the software will be provided to the students nearer the time.
  • The students will be able to see their grades online and the final results will also be sent to individual students via e-mail.
  • A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to students who have successfully completed both components of the course.
