Program Schedule

The schedule for different events will be as follows:

  • Registration Deadline – June 15, 2008
  • Application process - please read the details given under "Admission". .
  • Payment Deadline - The payment deadline for receiving full payment is June 20, 2008. A late fee of $ 100 will be charged for payments received after the deadline.
  • Online Orientation and Technology walk-through – During this time, students will work closely with the instructor to master the navigation through the online classwork by participating in a sample lesson and completing different activities - readings, lecture notes, using the webliography, participating in a threaded discussion, submission of a sample assignment, etc.
  • Regular online teaching begins on July 07, 2008 and ends on Aug. 30, 2008
  • Final Exam – Sept. 4 - 6. To offer flexibility, a student may take the final exam any time during this period. The final exam will be conducted online using a special secure software - Exam. Guard.. Each student will be able to access the exam only once using the software instructions to download and use the software will be provided to the students nearer the time.
  • Practicum I at PALS - Wednesday, Sept. 10 - 8:40 - 3:00 (Lunch will be provided.) Practicum II at PALS - Any day between Sept. 15 - Sept. 20
  • The students will be able to see their grades and complete evaluation online and the final results will also be sent to individual students via e-mail.
  • A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to students who have successfully completed both components of the course.
